Pronunciation

Even though there are only 26 letters in the alphabet, there are more than 40 sounds used in spoken English. In this class you will learn the theoretical and practical aspects of pronunciation to help you adjust your accent and understand others.

The course includes;

• Understanding the main phonemes in English and their symbols.
• Understanding how to use your mouth muscles to create different sounds.
• Understanding different English accents (American, Australian, even Mancunian!).
• How to distinguish between very similar sounds, like sheep or ship.
• Practice of different sounds in class with a teacher who will help you.

The course consists of 30 lessons.
