If you want advice and help please contact our accommodation department - accommodation@a2z-english.com

You don't have to arrange accommodation through our school - you can also arrange your own accommodation when you arrive.

Moving on

We also give students support with finiding private rented accommodation after they arrive in at the school. We do not help arrange this and we cannot give advice about this to anyone who is not already in either the UK or Ireland.

How to Register

You can register for any kind of accommodation using our online registration form but you must be a student at A2Z.

All the prices for accommodation, including the booking fee for each individual booking, are listed on our prices page.

Each kind of accommodation has positives and negatives

You can see a comparison on our special accommodation comparison page.

Generally we recommend homestay accommodation, as you will be able to practice your English all day, and you will also learn about British or Irish culture. It is also very good value for money; it might seem more expensive, but when you consider all the bills its actually quite cheap!

Many students take one of these four options for their first month, and then look for their own accommodation, but many students who choose homestay remain there for the entire duration of their stay, because they become very good friends with the family.

Please note

Problems

Accommodation is probably the issue  which causes most problems in English language schools! This is usually because the student has expectations which turn out not to be true. We try to avoid any problems by giving you as much information as we can so that you can make an informed decision with realistic expectations.

As an example, if you stay in homestay with a family, you will not usually be able to arrive home after midnight, because you will wake everyone up. So, if you want to go out a lot its probably better to stay in a shared house with other students. Please read our accommodation comparison page to get an idea of which kind of accommodation would be best for you.
