Classes vs Courses
We make a distinction between courses and classes.

A course is the amount of time you buy, either 30 lessons per week (Intensive), 20 lessons per week (full time) or 10, 6 or 4 lessons per week (part time).

A class is how you spend that time. You can see the range of available classes here.

A2Z course options include

Intensive - 30 lessons per week - Morning, Midday or Afternoon

Full time - 20 lessons per week - Morning or Afternoon

Part time - 10, 6 or 4 lessons per week - Midday or Evening
The course option you choose will determine which classes you can study.

Prices
All classes are the SAME price! So, if your English improves and you want to study for an exam instead of General English, then you do not have to pay extra to transfer to this class. This is different to many other schools!
The price of course books and any official exams you take varies. These depend on the course.
Entry tests
Everyone does an entry test, but for exam classes and business English there are special tests. If you want to join one of these higher level classes then you must do a short test in the school and score a high enough result.
Changing Class

At the A2Z School it is ok to change your class type within the limits of your course. For example, you might want to study writing at midday instead of grammar, or prepare for IELTS instead of studying Business English. There are only two conditions;
- You will need to get the permission of a head teacher, and
- You can only start your new class from the following Monday.

If you want to change the time of day (eg swap 8.30 - 12.30 for 1430 - 18.30)
- You must have the permission of the head teacher, and
- If the price you paid was discounted you may have to pay the difference between the price of that course and the higher price of the course you want to switch to.
