Manchester Weather

Manchester is famous for being rainy, but it isn't actually much wetter than the rest of the UK and receives less rain than New York each year.

The main difference compared with London is that Manchester is on the western side of the UK and London is on the eastern side.

This means Manchester has more rain and humidity, but London has more wind and a drier feel when it is cold.

But actually, it is not as wet as people think. In fact it has less rain each year than New York! It is about the same as LIverpool and only a little different from London. Here is an interesting article about the subject.
