Callan Full time

The Cambridge Advanced Examination and Proficiency are the two  highest of the 5 Cambridge ESOL main suite exams.

We run two full time classes for these exams;

1.     CAE Morning; 8.30 - 12.20, Monday to Friday

2.     CAE AFternoon: 14:30-18:20 Monday to Friday

The A2Z Cambridge Advanced courses are our highest level courses.

The CAE course:

·         Is suitable for those who require a recognised certificate for work or academic purposes.

·         Covers all the skills assessed in the CAE examination including listening and speaking, reading and writing, use of grammar and vocabulary. Practice examinations are included

How to join the class

Normally students study in the First Certificate Class and then progress to the Advanced class. However, some students already have an advanced level of English. If this is you, then you will be assessed by the head teachers and may be asked to sit a test first to prove your level.

How to take the exam

The Cambridge Advanced Examination and/or proficiency can be taken as a written exam in Manchester about three times a year, but there are other opportunities to take the test as a computer based exam. You can read more details about this on the Cambridge ESOL website or visit our online cambridge exams calendar.
